Leslie McCabe was born in New Jersey in 1974. She graduated from Pequannock Township High School, where she was a nerd, played the viola, and threw javelin. She met her husband at a debate club meeting at the University of Virginia. They have 2 children, Jacob age 5, and Eliana age 3.

Leslie enjoys camping, white water kayaking, college football, election-year politics, and re-reading books by Patrick O'Brien.
