Consent For Research Study

The following information is provided to inform you about this research project and your participation in the study. Please read this form carefully. You may wish to print a copy of this consent form.

Your participation in this study is voluntary. You are free to choose not to participate in this study or to withdraw at any time if you choose not to answer some of the questions.

In this study, you will be asked to make nine decisions. In each decision, you will have several options and will choose one of them. It should take you about 30 minutes to complete the study. If you complete the study, you will be paid $3 for participating. In addition, you may earn up to $9 depending on the decisions you make and on random luck.

However, if you choose not to participate or withdraw from the study, then you will not be eligible for payment.

Your individual results in the study will be kept anonymous and you will not be identified in the data that will be collected or in the results that will be reported. No personal information will be placed on your browser by the use of cookies.

2. Click the "Content" icon.
3. Check "Enable JavaScript".
4. Close Preferences box.

Internet Explorer 6.0

1. From the top menu, click "Tools > Internet Options".
2. Click the "Security" tab. This will display the Web content zones.
3. Highlight the "Internet" zone.
4. Click Custom Level.
5. Scroll to find the "Scripting" header.
6. Ensure that "Active Scripting" is enabled.
7. Click "OK".

1. From the top menu, click "Tools > Internet Options".
2. Click the "Security" tab. This will display the Web content zones.
3. Highlight the "Internet" zone.
4. Click Custom Level.
5. Scroll to find the "Scripting" header.

1. From the top menu, click "Tools > Options".
2. Click the "Site Controls" icon.
3. Click "I Trust This Site" under the Master Settings and then click "Enable JavaScript".
4. Click "OK".
